Change your name, photo or email address

Update your own details under Account › Profile: your name and photo, the email you sign in with, email notifications and the workspaces you belong to.

Updated 2 min read

Open the account menu from your avatar in the top bar and select Profile, or go to Account › Profile. What you change here is yours alone: it follows you into every workspace you belong to, and none of it goes into a workspace's audit log.

Your name and photo

In the Identity card:

  • Profile photo: drop an image on the box or browse for one, a PNG, JPG or SVG up to 512 KB. A square image of at least 256×256 pixels works best. It uploads as soon as you pick it, and Remove takes it off.
  • First name is required and Last name is optional. Select Save changes.

Your name and photo are how you appear in the audit log, in notifications and to your colleagues. Signing a representation mandate needs both a first and a last name, because the mandate names you as its signatory.

Change your email address

Your email address is the one you sign in with. In How you sign in, select Change on the Email row:

  1. Enter the New email address and select Send code.
  2. Type the six-digit code sent to the new address into Code from the email and select Confirm new address.

Nothing changes until you confirm the code. The new address then becomes the one you sign in with and the old one is removed, unless an account you sign in through still identifies you by it. If you cancel before confirming, the unconfirmed address is removed.

Password and connected sign-ins

How you sign in also shows whether you have a password. Change, or Set a password if you have none, leads to Sign-in & security; see Change your password and turn on two-factor. An account from another provider that you sign in through is listed with Disconnect. You can't disconnect your only way in, so set a password first.

Email notifications

The Notifications card has one switch, Email me when EU Presence files something. It covers the emails sent to you about your workspace's records, such as an executed agreement our team files, a formation step completed, a letter from an authority, or a request that arrives through your Privacy Center. Turn it off and select Save changes to stop them. The switch stops only the email: the notification is still recorded in the platform.

Workspaces you belong to

Organizations you belong to lists each workspace with Your role and the date you joined. Members beside it leads to the members of the workspace you're in.

Sign out everywhere

Under Your account, Sign out everywhere signs you out of the browser you're using, and you sign in again to return. Despite its name, it doesn't sign out your other devices. To end those, use the device list on Sign-in & security, or change your password there, which signs out every other device at once.
