Find and download a document

Every file EU Presence holds for your workspace is in Documents, where you can search, filter and download it.

Documents is the vault: every file filed on your records across the platform, in one list with the newest first. The number beside Documents in the sidebar is how many files it holds.

What's in the vault

Files arrive as the work happens. Our team files executed agreements and formation paperwork, a signed mandate is filed as soon as SignNow confirms the signature, and a file you add to a record, such as a sub-processor's DPA, is filed with it.

What isn't in the vault

  • Reports you generate. They're listed under Reports › Recent runs (see Run a report).
  • Identity documents a data subject sends to prove who they are.
  • An employee's registration documents, which stay on their record in People › Employees.
  • Pictures and logos, such as product images and your Privacy Center logo.

Search and filter

Type a file's name, or the name of the record it's filed against, in Search by file name or record… and press Enter. Kind: All narrows the list to one kind of file, and Added: All time to Last 30 days, Last 12 months or This year. If nothing matches, select Clear the filters.

Each row shows the Document, its Kind, what it's Filed against, when it was Added and its Size.

Download a file

  1. Select a row. The file opens in a panel with its kind, the record it's filed against, the date it was added and its size.
  2. Select Download. The file saves under the name it was filed with.

The record's name in the panel, and the button at its foot (for example Open Privacy), take you to the register that holds it. The menu at the end of a row offers Copy link and Copy ID.

Adding a file

There's no uploading in Documents. To file something, add it to the record it belongs to, such as a DPA on its sub-processor in Privacy, and it appears here. A DPO who works with you can't open Documents.
